Peppermint Essential Oil #3614

resource preview

Do you ever need someone in your life who, instead of bringing in all of their own thoughts and ideas to a situation, can just adapt a bit? Sense what you're feeling and fill in the holes, the spaces, the blanks, the needs? This is that person that seems to assess the room easily and then provide what is missing. A blanket, a plate of food, advice, a glass of water, a back rub. (These people often come in the form of moms.) Sometimes we need to be comforted, and sometimes we need a little kick in the pants to get our focus back on track.

Peppermint Oil works in a similar way in the body. It has been regarded for thousands of years for its soothing properties with an ability to calm the digestive system or even trigger the satiety center of the brain creating a sense of fullness. But that very same oil can wake us up, focus us, cool us off, refresh us, and get us ready to go again. Hence this is one of the most used and reused oils of our entire arsenal.
